The presentation will focus on how CMAT intends to use its experience in developing both new Academies and in transforming existing failing schools to establish a new Academy for the Corby community. CMAT is an organisation which works to provide high quality education at the heart of its communities and which works in partnership with others to ensure continuing development for our staff, for teacher training and in supporting other schools and partners.
Steve Howard is an Executive Principal within CMAT and has been the Principal at Nene Park Academy since September 2013. Prior to that he was the Vice Principal at Nene Park Academy and the deputy head teacher at Swavesey Village College for 12 years. He has worked for the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust as a Science Lead Practitioner advising school leadership teams on Science teaching development and has supported other schools through both the BSF programme and Gaining Ground programmes within a 27 year career in education.
